This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application Ai Study (referred to as the "App"). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the App. 1. Information We Collect We collect information to provide you with a personalized, AI-driven study planning experience. The types of data we collect include: A. Personal Data • Account Information: When you sign up or log in (e.g., via Google Sign-In or email registration), we collect your name, email address, and profile picture. • Onboarding Preferences: We collect your chosen exam prep track (e.g., College, CSS, MDCAT, USA/UK exams) to customize your syllabus parsing and study planner. B. Study and Syllabus Data • Syllabus Inputs: When you upload a syllabus (PDF, screenshot, or image) or paste a raw text outline, this content is processed to generate your study structure. • Study Progress: We track your completed tasks, customized study routines, habit consistency percentages, and Focus study hours. • Quiz Performance: We store your multiple-choice quiz attempts, answers selected, final scores, and weak-area reports. • Leaderboard Data: Your weekly XP points, username, and streak days are collected to display rankings in the Weekly Leaderboard. C. Device and Log Data • Local Storage Cache: We use lightweight local cache mechanics (GetStorage) and a local SQLite database on your device to keep the app working instantly offline. • System Info: We collect basic OS versions (iOS or Android) and crash reports to maintain stability and fix bugs. 2. How We Use Your Information We use the collected information for purposes including: • Plan Generation: Using AI services to decompose your syllabus into customized weekly segments. • Progress Syncing: Saving your tasks, notes, routines, and quiz history to the cloud (using Cloud Firestore) so you can access them across multiple devices. • Gamification: Calculating streaks, consistency scores, and leaderboard rankings. • Local Alerts: Scheduling push notifications and daily study routine reminders on your device. • Support: Communicating with you, responding to customer service queries, and resolving technical bugs. 3. Third-Party Services We Use We integrate with trusted third-party providers to deliver premium features. These services include: • Firebase (Google): For secure user authentication (Firebase Auth), database hosting (Cloud Firestore), and crash reports. • AI Processing APIs (e.g., Gemini API): Your syllabus text and topic requests are processed by artificial intelligence models to generate customized study plans, mock quizzes, and study explanations. These APIs do not use your personal profile data for model training. 4. Data Security and Retention • Data Protection: We implement industry-standard security measures to safeguard your database entries and syllabus text inputs. • Local Database: All offline work, custom habits, and mock fallbacks are stored in your device's secure local SQLite space. • Data Retention: We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated study plans at any time from the Profile settings. 5. Children's Privacy Our services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. 6.
